Founder and Chief Engineer
Brandon Ortiz is an experienced elevator control system designer with a strong background in troubleshooting and a history of contributions as a former member of the ASME A17.1 Electrical Committee.
Since 2019, he’s worked as a contract engineer developing motor controls for heavy-duty electric vehicles. Now armed with a broadened perspective and enhanced technical expertise, he’s leading Control Zone on a path to grow the elevator industry with innovative controllers.
Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in business analytics, both from California State University, Sacramento.
